CROSSOVER...

No not the death and travel the plane of different dimension kind. I mean Crossover as a new organisation that is happening in New Zealand.

But before I get into that. I know it has been over 8 months since my last journal entry, whoops my bad, but don't worry.. I have been hanging around dA on stealth mode most of the time and been checking up on what you guys have been doing. OKay for you all on my msn or facebook list.. hassle me to post stuff up.

So what has been going on after graduation I hear you ask. Well.. it isn't so bad as I thought it would be, yes I am still figuring out a way to live my life of art. But what fun is it if anyone suddenly landed famous? I had been finding odd jobs here and there, there was a period where I did work for seven days straight and was under paid, but thank lord that is over.

I am currently working part time at The Vault recently and I am trying really hard not to make mistakes. While doing that I am also doing some tutoring/essay editing work with a few people. Leaving time for some volunteer business if it ever arises, and will be using this extra time to develop a studio practice. (So far I am still setting up, so I haven't made any art yet.. :( )BUT most importantly I have been getting myself involved with Crossover.

Now, Time to introduce CROSSOVER!!!

A group of NINE of us, graduates and art enthusiasts and fashion designers have gotten together with the support from some known New Zealand creative members.. to create a group with the sole intention to promote Young/New Emerging Artists across a wide field of disciplines. From Fine art, fashion design, design, photography, music, spoken word, performance.. you name it.. we are open to it.

We intend to create a facility that can open up opportunities for shows and events... We also attempt to create opportunities for international exchanges. Currently we are in the midst of fixing our location. And will be holding a show in August to launch our website at:
Crossover.org.nz

We aim for Crossover to one day be a world wide experience and opportunity for many. So those who are interested in this idea, please show your support and visit the site after the launch date of 15th August. OR... join us on FACEBOOK... (yes the modern day tool of stalking)

Thank you. I always found interest in my heritage despite what I experience isn't the absolute primary culture. A lot of what I experiment with is from a secondary point of view and focus on the idea of mimicking, since it is strongly (what I believe)to be a big part of my character. Thank you once again, for dropping me a message. Made my morning happy XD
