workshop 2, yesh i was crazy enough to draw on a wall with pencil, took me nearly the whole of my holidays to do this one, what i based the text on was my child experienced racial comments, and the eyes were a self portrait... this work currently measures at least 2.5x4.8 Metres.. roughly..
--Edit---
[link] <--photo of me and friend Rachel (~yellowcherry) standing at the wall! gives u an idea of the size.
i have recieved alot of comments asking how i ended it the rest of the story is here [link]
“To be successful you must know how to use people, this is how businessmen are able to gain. If only I was educated” - Dad.
People are objects. According to my parents life is hard for those who are uneducated, they are those who live in unfortunate countries and suffer laborious conditions to only be paid little a day. I am fortunate to have the choice and live a system where education is available, but sadly most people do not value this opportunity. With Misconceptions I acknowledge the use of cheap mediums and the amount of labour evident within the work, and through this I hope to have created an appreciation towards products labelled “Made in China”.

Misconceptions by ~bananalicious has a message, but it is also technically an ambitious and physically demanding work to realize, and that deserves some press. (

Wahh your too nice Matt.. i done this as a project so I was forced to be committed.. it turned out to be a crazy idea.. was due in the day before my bday.. at least i had it up for about 4 months before i destroyed it.. XD
Well I can't even begin to fathom how you worked out where to shade the words properly so that it ended up looking like your eyes from far away. Somewhat easy to do digitally but pretty difficult using such a practical method I would imagine. Well done.
well actually it was a translation of something digital, so it was already preplanned on how i was gonna do it. although actually putting on the wall was definitely the hardest part. thank lord for digital really.. else it would have been total Hell XD
I envy you for that
Extraordinary piece!
